Berns is its own little world in the great other world. A universe among many. But what is played out here, is just this and stops the moment the staff, and visitors - where each individual has the leading part of his own play. Berns has its past and present with guests eating, sleeping, dancing, drinking - ties have been established, and broken. Whatever the reasons for a visit here so enters but a kind of scene. No one will get there without consciously putting on their stage attire, not without practicing his lines, not without hope that tonight is the magic happens.
